At times, all of us need practical encouragement to help us take important and needed steps of faith. As a church, we want to help provide some encouragement for anyone who is not currently practicing the Biblical pattern of faithfully giving a minimum of 10% to the Lord's work. If you find yourself in this situation for WHATEVER REASON(S), please prayerfully go through the following steps:

• 1) Look up and thoughtfully read through 5-10 of the pertinent Scripture sections listed under "10 Reasons Why?". After reading through the verses, honestly tell the Lord in prayer your fears and concerns about returning the first portion of the finances He's given you back to Him.

  2) Sign and return this card to church (in the offering or by mail).

  3) For 90 days whenever you receive any income, write a check or lay aside and give a minimum of 10% of the amount for the Lord's work.

  4) If at the end of 90 days you feel your giving was a mistake or that you did not experience God's creative care and blessing in your life, notify the church treasurer or Pastor and the church will refund any amount you request up to the full amount you

After reading the Scriptures and realizing I (we) will be better off with 90% of our income and God's help then 100% of our income without God's active help, I will participate in this 90 day faith adventure to faithfully give a minimum of 10% of my income to the Lord's work. It is understood that if at the end of 90 days I feel I have not experienced God's creative care and/or if I've regretted any of my giving to the church, I can have refunded any amount up to what I gave in checks to the church during this 90 day period.
